Dess Knight
Dess is the cheerfully rambunctious presence at Iron & Oak and has been tattooing since July 2020. They believe tattoos are an ultimate form of agency over ourselves and loves collaborating with clients to bring their ideas to life. As they progress they're focusing more on developing their botanical illustration, "dark beauty", and surreal kawaii styles - they're always looking to explore different art and ideas though, so feel free to reach out!
Before becoming a tattoo artist they were a freelance artist in La Crosse and Winona as art has always been a lifeblood for them. Outside of tattooing, they have a great enthusiasm for gaming, anime, cute things, and everything eldritch, all of which are recurring themes in their personal art as seen on Instagram. They also have a deep love for flowers and gardening regardless of how good they are at it. Instagram is where you can keep up with their latest creative endeavors as well when their books open/close!
